    "description": "Profiles of potential temperature and practical salinity were collected at two sites in McMurdo Sound using a Sea-Bird SBE 19plus CTD. At Site A full-depth profiles were collected on two occasions. At Site B four profiles were collected at different stages in the tidal cycle. Each profile included two downward casts and three upward casts.
