    "description": "This metadata record represents paleotemperature profiles generated from over 400 samples collected across the McMurdo Dry Valleys\/Southern Victoria Land region. Samples were analysed for rock magnetism, dispersed organic carbon, and rock geochemistry. Samples at Beacon Heights were also analysed for coal petrology.\n\nSamples were collected at:\n- Upper Wright Valley (-77.600548, 161.198282)\n- Lower Wright Valley (-77.509479, 162.007019)\n- Mt.
