    "description": "This metadata record describes the permanent deployment of an overwinter CTD, dissolved oxygen, and pH logging system in McMurdo Sound, Antarctica. The installation includes a timelapse camera monitoring a large Anoxycalyx joubini sponge, with sampling tubes and oxygen sensors positioned inside and outside the sponge tissue to assess internal and ambient conditions. The system also incorporates vacuum water sampling bottles for periodic collection and analysis.
