    "description": "This dataset describes moss specimens collected from geothermally heated soils at Hutt Cave on Mt. Erebus, Antarctica, during the 2025\/2026 field season for taxonomic identification and characterisation. The specimens were collected as part of a broader research programme investigating biological communities inhabiting geothermal soils on Mount Erebus.
