At ASPA 131 (Canada Stream), multispectral imagery was collected using a DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise with RTK for the main alluvial fan where most of the visible biomass occurs. At Pyramid Trough, hyperspectral imagery was collected using a Headwall Photonics Nano-Hyperspec onboard a DJI Matrice 600 Pro (no RTK) for a targeted area where the first alluvial fan feeds into a pond (i.e., change in flow level will likely result in expanded wetted areas). Multispectral imagery was also collected for multiple targets sites as well as the entire alluvial fan.\n\nThese data sets serve as baseline data for these terrestrial biology sentinel sites. At each location, a stainless steel marker was installed for the RTK base station during future surveys.\n\nGET DATA: charles.lee@waikato.ac.nz", "keywords":[ "K881C","VEGETATION","BIOMASS DYNAMICS","UAV","Cameras","","ASP" ] ,"creator": [ { "@type":"Person" ,"name": "Lee, C.K." ,"email": ["charles.lee@waikato.ac.nz"] ,"contactPoint": { "@type" : "PostalAddress" } } ] ,"publisher": [ { "@type":"Organization" ,"name": "University of Waikato" ,"email": [""] ,"contactPoint": { "@type" : "PostalAddress" } } ] ,"distribution": [ { "@type":"DataDownload", "contentUrl": "https:\/\/antcat.antarcticanz.govt.nz\/geonetwork\/srv\/api\/records\/8d99331f-8c92-42c5-8f50-649f3c1d516e", "encodingFormat": "WWW:LINK-1.0-http--link", "name": "Distribution Metadata" }] ,"encodingFormat": [ ] ,"spatialCoverage": [ {"@type":"Place", "description": [ ], "geo": [ {"@type":"GeoShape", "box": "-78.3073 163.4391 -78.293 163.4696" }, {"@type":"GeoShape", "box": "-77.6339 162.971 -77.6054 163.0956" } ] }] ,"temporalCoverage": [ "2023-12-01/2024-01-31" ] ,"license": [ { "@type": "CreativeWork", "name": "This data set conforms to the CC BY Attribution License (https:\/\/creativecommons.org\/licenses\/by\/4.0\/)" } ] , "citation": "Lee, C.K., ( 2026 ) Biological Survey Data at Two Locations Using Near-Ground Airborne Remote Sensing, McMurdo Dry Valleys, Antarctica, 2023-2024.
