    "description": "Spectrally resolved (0.5cm-1) atmospheric down-welling thermal infrared radiance measurements (500-2500cm-1). Installed at the long-term science building at Scott Base in October 2025.\n\nThe deployment of the AERI is part of the ARM SHIRE campaign (https:\/\/armgov.svcs.arm.gov\/research\/campaigns\/osc2024SHIRE).\n\nThis project is a collaboration between Earth Sciences New Zealand and the Space Science and Engineering Center, University of Wisconsin, USA.\n\nThe AERI instrument had a previous visit to Ross Island.
