Heights are in datums defined at http:\/\/www.linz.govt.nz\/geodetic\/datums-projections-heights\/vertical-datums\/.\n\nAll marks will have positions in terms of New Zealand\u2019s official geodetic datum for Antarctica, Ross Sea Region Geodetic Datum 2000 (RSRGD2000). The horizontal positions of marks are provided for approximate location purposes only. \n\nThis dataset only includes marks that are within the Antarctic region. The height data for these marks have been generated primarily using precise vertical angle and slope distance measurements from datum tide gauges. Some have been generated from levelling data. \n\nThe source data is from Land Information New Zealand's (LINZ) Landonline system where it is used by Land Surveyors. This dataset is updated daily to reflect changes made in the Landonline.\n\n\nAccuracy\n============\nThe accuracy of normal-orthometric heights are described by height orders. \n\nFor more information see http:\/\/www.linz.govt.nz\/geodetic\/datums-projections-heights\/heights\/height-orders\/. \n\nNote the accuracy applies at the time the mark was last surveyed - see the geodetic database for historical information about height coordinates.", "keywords":[ "" ] ,"distribution": [ { "@type":"DataDownload", "contentUrl": "https:\/\/antcat.antarcticanz.govt.nz\/geonetwork\/srv\/api\/records\/6d9acb0d-46c0-0562-4d67-2750e5c7265a", "encodingFormat": "WWW:LINK-1.0-http--link", "name": "Distribution Metadata" , "additionalType": [ { "@type":"DataLink", "contentUrl": "https:\/\/data.linz.govt.nz\/layer\/50788-antarctic-geodetic-vertical-marks\/", "encodingFormat": "", "name": } ] }] ,"spatialCoverage": [ {"@type":"Place", "description": [ ], "geo": [ {"@type":"GeoShape", "box": "-78.2323 159.3668 -71.8917 171.1677" } ] }] ,"temporalCoverage": [ ] ,"license": [ { "@type": "CreativeWork", "name": "Crown copyright reserved" } , { "@type": "CreativeWork", "name": "Released under Creative Commons By with: \n\nFollowing Disclaimers: \n1.
