    "description": "The CNR4 net radiometer measures the energy balance between incoming short-wave and long-wave far Infrared (FIR) radiation versus surface-re\uFB02ected short-wave and outgoing long-wave radiation whilst the SI-411 infrared radiometer measures surface temperature.\n\nThese two radiometers were installed on the Scott Base AWS meteorological mast in February 2026.\n\nMeasurements will be used in atmospheric radiative budget analysis in support of the ARM SHIRE campaign (https:\/\/armgov.svcs.arm.gov\/research\/campaigns\/osc2024SHIRE).\n\nGET DATA: dan.smale@earthsciences.nz",
