    "description": "This metadata record represents nucleic acid (DNA and RNA), microscopic cell counts, and ancient DNA collected at Kamb Ice Stream 3 (KIS3) from Core 5072_1_A_1G.\n\nRNA data were generated to determine which metabolic pathways are utilised in the seafloor environment. DNA extracted from cells were used to determine community composition. Cell counts provide the total cell concentrations in the sediment.
