    "description": "Three oceanographic moorings were deployed along a transect in McMurdo Sound in November 2016 to understand how Ice Shelf Water, and supercooling, evolves with distance from the ice shelf to influence sea ice formation and evolution. \n\nSite WMA had two Aanderaa Seaguard RCM recording current speed and direction at single points (250 m, and 140 m), three Sea-Bird SBE 37 MicroCATs recording salinity (330 m, 250 m, and 140 m), and ten Sea-Bird SBE 56 Temperature Sensors at various depths recording temperature from 2016-10-31 until 2016-11-13. \n\nSite WMB had two Sea-Bird SBE 37 MicroCATs recording salinity (310 m, and 120 m), and ten Sea-Bird SBE 56 Temperature Sensors at various depths recording temperature from 29-10-2016 until 11-11-2016. \n\nSite WMC had three Sea-Bird SBE 37 MicroCATs recording salinity (265 m, 185 m, and 75 m), and ten Sea-Bird SBE 56 Temperature Sensors at various depths recording temperature from 28-10-2016 until 14-11-2016.\n\nLocations:\nWMA (-77.8183, 165.4059)\nWMB (-77.7181, 165.1454)\nWMC (-77.6152, 164.8821)\n\nGET DATA: natalie.robinson@vuw.ac.nz",
