    "description": "This dataset comprises data derived from fish samples collected from multiple coastal sites in McMurdo Sound and around Ross Island, Antarctica, spanning locations that differ in sea ice dynamics as characterised from satellite observations. The samples were collected to investigate variability in the Antarctic marine food web structure under contrasting sea ice conditions. Fish tissues will be analysed using chemical tracers of organic matter and nutrients.\n\nThe dataset supports comparison of contemporary food web structure across sites and provides a basis for comparison with related sampling from previous field seasons, including K065 and K067 (Antarctica New Zealand Science Event Identifiers).
